At last! By popular demand, Coffee Island has now opened it's first Retail Store called "Coffee Island - Tea & Imports" to serve its customers with freshly roasted gourmet organic coffees, along with a large range of specialty loose-leaf teas.

For months our customers have been asking us where they could come to visit us.

Coffee Island - Tea & Imports is located in the old Auburn Downtown strip of E. Main Street right next door to Nelson's Jewelry - a neighborhood icon, and just a stone's throw right around the corner from the old Auburn Theatre on Auburn Avenue. We're between Auburn Ave. and Auburn Way on E. Main. Look for our signs on the windows of our store front.

HOURS OF OPERATION:
Our retail store just opened April 10th, 2008, with a fantastic response from the locals and business community! We are so excited to have had such a welcome into the neighborhood! Store hours are: Mon-Fri 10 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., Sat 10 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and closed on Sundays to allow us to continue to improve and grow. Currently, we offer you your choice of beautiful quality Single-Origin coffees served French-Press style TO-GO, with a selection of flavorings and sauces to tickle your taste buds. On the tea side, we have a wide range of loose-leaf teas to choose from which can also be served TO-GO! You can come for the TO-GO drinks or take your choice of beverage in bagged whole coffee beans freshly roasted and/or your choice of loose-leaf teas purchased by the ounce (2 oz. minimums).

Coffee Island - Tea & Imports also has a beautiful selection of gourmet chocolates, biscottis, desert bars, muffin tops, candies and more to enjoy along with your beverage. We also prepare beautifully hand-made gift baskets for your gift-giving needs.

Our shop is constantly growing and changing with unique accessories and equipment for preparing your drinks at home as well. Stop by and say hello and check us out! There's nothing like us around - so we're told. You come in a stranger and you leave us as friends! Our goal is to give you a nice place to shop with the hospitality of the South Pacific and Australian culture combined! I guess there is nothing like us around, now that I think of it.

NEW Aussie Teas Launches in the U.S.!

Coffee Island is excited to announce the new Sole U.S. Distributorship for a terrific line of unique Organic Herbal Aussie Teas called "Koala Tea" from The Koala Tea Company downunder in New South Wales, Australia!

The Koala Tea Company is internationally known and has been successfully operating in Australia for almost 15 years. About 60% of the company's customers come from various parts of Japan, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Germany, U.K., and now the U.S. & Canada! Coffee Island is thrilled to be doing business with such a reputable company producing fine organic products which are USDA and Kosher Certified, and also certified by additional Australian known organizations.

These delicately flavorful Aussie teas are being sought after by many Americans who have enjoyed their travels to Australia. U.S. consumers have been requesting these fine exotic teas from the manufacturer for some time now, asking where in the U.S. they can purchase the products. But, because import costs of small quantities shipped to the U.S. is prohibitive, it's been almost impossible to get them - - until now!
